Chelgate’s Property and Development division is headed by Michael Hardware, who is probably unique in the industry. Not only does he have 20 years’ construction and property development background, he is also a regular editorial contributor to several of the trade publications in the sector. He has been a member of the International Association of Construction, Design and Property Press (IBP) for 20 years, serving on the Executive Committee for five years, three as national Treasurer. He has also sat on the Executive Committees of the construction industry groups in the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists.
He is supported by a strong executive team which has many years’ experience in journalism, local government, construction, transport, and public affairs including several former Parliament candidates, experts in environmental issues, and specialists in crisis and acute issues management.
