2010 General Election Competition
In 2010, the Conservative Party won by 2,117,087 votes (the Conservatives collected 10,726,614 votes against labour with 8,609,527). This time we were offering three prizes: the March prize was won with a guess of 2,165,234, just 48,147 out. The April
prize was won with a guess of 2,010,056, only 107,031 out. The overall winner won with a guess of 2,150,000, only 32,913 short of the actual margin.
A case of champagne has been sent to the two monthly winners, and a double case to the overall winner. Congratulations and enjoy.
2005 General Election Competition
In 2005, the Labour Party won by 783,585 votes (Labour collected 9,556,183 votes against the Conservative’s 8,772,598). In our competition that year, the case of champagne was won by an entry that guessed 800,000.
