Supporting Communities in Neighbourhood Planning (January 7, 2011): DCLG announces new grant scheme aimed at charities wanting to support communities that wish to engage in the planning process now. Applications to be submitted by February 21, with the scheme starting on April 1.

High court decision that the revoking of RSS was unlawful (November 10, 2010): The High Court today ruled that Eric Pickles, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, was unlawful in unilaterally revoking the regional planning strategies in July. Cala Homes (South) Limited issued a claim for judicial review in August.
