BACK IN THE WINNERS ENCLOSURE

Supporters of Chelgate's super-nag Positive Profile (a son of Definite Article) had reason to celebrate yesterday when our favourite equestrian hero powered to yet another win - his tenth in all. This was only the second run in his comeback campaign, after a year and a half recuperating from damaged tendons. The race - a nail biting battle to the line, with "Pozzy's" stamina and guts only getting him home in the final 20 yards - was exciting enough. But supporters  were celebrating late into the night, as well they might with a Starting Price payout of 33-1.

Chelgate Chairman Terence Fane-Saunders was at Wolverhampton to cheer Pozzy home. Commenting after the race, he said : "We were all cheering so hard I think the horse had more breath left than we did. But it's great to see the old boy back in the winners enclosure. The firm has had a lot of success working for clients in the betting and racing industries,  and sending our own horse out to win races like this really is the icing on the cake"
