CHELGATE INVITES GUEST
18 November 2003
Chelgate Limited, has appointed Beth Guest as coordinator, EU services,
at its Brussels office. She takes over from Fiona Wickham who has moved
to Chelgate’s London headquarters to work on EU issues management
with Nick Wood-Dow, chairman, client services.
Like her predecessor, Beth joins the company from the European Parliament
where she was a political assistant to Jacqueline Foster MEP. Prior to
working in the Parliament, Beth worked in the Press and Communication Directorate
General at the European Commission Representation in London where she covered
all aspects of EU policy and dealt with the press at a local, national
and European level.
Terence Fane-Saunders, chairman and chief executive, said: “Fiona
Wickham has done an outstanding job in Brussels, and her move to London
means that she will be able to work closely with many of our head office
clients on European issues, while still of course being a frequent visitor
to Brussels.”
Mr Fane-Saunders said he was delighted that Beth Guest had also now joined
the team: “It was never going to be easy to replace Fiona in Brussels.
But Beth’s reputation preceded her, and I am certain she will make
an invaluable contribution to the quality of our EU client service.”
