WELCOME TO ALAN LAING WHO JOINED CHELGATE AT THE BEGINNING OF JUNE

 A graduate of Glasgow University, where he studied European Law, Alan
is an experienced political campaigner in both local and national politics.
A Labour Party councillor for the London Borough of Hackney, he joins Chelgate
following a period as campaign manager of a campaign group focused on the
debate over Britain and the Euro. Alan also personally represented the
campaign on a wide range of national and regional media and took the campaign's
message to a wider audience, including the Green Party and other grassroots
campaigns.
Alan had previously worked as a management consultant at Accenture (formerly
Andersen Consulting), where he specialised in change management and organisational
communication.
