Cavendish Joins Chelgate

Reputation and relationship management specialist, Chelgate Limited, has
announced the appointment of Leo Cavendish as Executive Vice-President,
Financial, effective March 19.
Former Citigate Communications Chairman Cavendish, who brings with him
extensive experience and a strong City track record, will head Chelgate's
financial division with a brief to strengthen further the company's global
positioning in that sector.
Chelgate's Chairman, Terence Fane-Saunders, said that financial relations
formed a key part of the company's service portfolio, and that Cavendish
would provide the right kind of leadership to continue its forward development.

our team - he has an outstanding name for forward thinking and strategic
client servicing work," Fane-Saunders said, "and will make a
heavyweight contribution to our continued progress."
Before joining Chelgate, Cavendish was Director of Bankside Consultants.
Prior to that he was founder Chairman of Citigate Communications and Chairman
of Streets Financial Strategy, which was born out of the merger between
Financial Strategy and Streets. He was also previously Director of several
other leading City PR firms.

During his career he has worked for virtually every kind of City institution
and handled numerous new issues and contested takeovers, as well as participating
in pan-European programmes for major corporate names.
He is a member of The Institute of Public Relations and the IPR City & Financial
Group.
