Nick Wood-Dow working with Dods

Chelgate Deputy Chairman Nick Wood-Dow is working with Dods, the leading event organiser and publisher of the House Magazine, to chair a series of their Westminster Briefing seminars in central London venues.

 

In March he chaired the seminar on localism in planning, with guest of honour Bob Neill MP, Minister for Planning at the Department of Communities and Local Government. This set out to discuss the new Localism Bill. Other speakers included John Pounder from Colin Buchanan and Partners, and Cllr Nick Cuff from the London Borough of Wandsworth.

 

Later in March he also chaired the seminar on tourism with guest of honour John Penrose MP, Minister for Tourism at the Department of Culture Media and Sport. This was held to discuss the new tourism strategy of the Department.

 

Other speakers were from Visit Britain, the Tourism Alliance and People First, plus Suffolk and Kent.

The next event Nick will chair is on the new Cabinet Office ICT strategy, which will be held on Thursday 23 June.
