Nick Wood-Dow to help run the 153rd Egham Royal Show in Surrey
Chelgate Deputy Chairman Nick Wood-Dow will be in the thick of it this Saturday and Sunday as a volunteer helping to run the 153rd Egham Royal Show. It is a small family agricultural and horticultural show attracting more than 12,000 visitors from all over Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and outer London, with a showground donated by Runnymede Borough Council in Whitehall Lane, Egham.
Nick looks after the sponsors, media and councillors, within a team of some thirty volunteers, and will be handling local radio interviews over the weekend. He will host the President's Lunch on Sunday for 100 guests, who will include HM Lord Lieutenant and several Surrey Mayors.

The Show is a registered charity and its Patron is HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. It is also promoting the Prince of Wales Countryside Fund, which was established a year ago to support rural communities. This is Nick's 28th year with the Show, and he shows no sign of retiring just yet!
