Chelgate speaker at DLP lunch
Chelgate Environment Director Nick Wood-Dow was guest speaker at the house lunch of DLP Consultants in Bedford on Friday 10th June. The lunch was chaired by DLP senior partner Neil Osborn and attended by 20 staff from the five DLP offices.
Nick gave an account of the coalition government’s first year, and updated DLP staff on progress with the coalition agreement. Other points of discussion included the Localism Bill, future planning policy, the White Paper on natural environment and the future of renewables deployment in the UK.
DLP and Chelgate work together on planning and local government projects and are preparing to hold seminars on the new Localism Bill later in the year.
