LONDON OLYMPICS BRIEFING

Nick Wood-Dow, Chelgate chairman of client cervices, today (December 7) chaired the third in a series of Westminster Briefing Conferences on the forthcoming London Olympics.
Entitled "Countdown to London 2012; how will the Games deliver for the country?" the Conference was designed to brief councillors and local government officers around the country on the opportunities offered by London 2012.
Nick was speaking alongside a collection of Olympic experts, including Derek Wyatt MP, John Steele of UK Sport, Tim Lawler of SportsAid, Mary Reilly of the London Development Agency, Baroness Valentine of London First, Brigid Simmonds of the Tourism Alliance, Stephen Baddeley of SportEngland, Tim Lamb of the CCPR, David Moorcroft of UK Athletics, and Cllr Chris White of the Local Government Association.
The Conference was sponsored by Norwich Union and was organised by the House Magazine, the weekly journal for MPs, Lords and the Westminster village.
