CHELGATE ASIA APPOINTS SYLVIA DOULAVERAKIS SENIOR CONSULTANT

Building on recent success in acquiring a number of accounts in the information technology sector, public relations consultancy Chelgate Asia Ltd. has announced the appointment of Sylvia Doulaverakis as Senior Consultant to focus on developing new business in this growing sector.

Ms Doulaverakis is a high-tech communications specialist with extensive experience, both in-house and agency, in technology product promotion, corporate profile building, brand management and event planning. In her previous position she managed a portfolio of IT and new media clients including regional Internet publisher Tricast (CNET in Asia, MTV Online and E! Online), online transaction processor First Ecom.com, and IT service provider COL Limited.

Ms Doulaverakis formerly worked with the Hong Kong Productivity Council's Software Industry Information Centre and for a leading Hong Kong hardware and software distributor.

At Chelgate Asia, Ms Doulaverakis will handle such clients as ehealthcareasia.com, DotMedia.com and iAdvantage.
